Welcome to my Underwear Affair Personal Page! As you can see, I?ve joined Alberta Cancer Foundation?s Underwear Affair® - a 10K run / 5K walk to uncover cures for cancers below the waist. It?s not only fun, but it fights prostate, colon, testicular, and ovarian cancer, among others. I?ll be just one of thousands of people gathered on the streets of Edmonton this summer in the biggest Affair this town has ever seen!

My team is Roger's Renegades. Roger is my friend Tania's dad, and he is recovering from rectal cancer. He is kind and loves his family - Cancer doesn't care that he is a good man, instead it has ravaged his body and created unbearable pain.

My friend's mother lost the her battle that started as rectal cancer this week.She had a new grandbaby on the way in September that she will never meet - Cancer doesn't care.

My Grandpa battled against prostrate cancer 20 years ago, and last year cancer struck my family again when my Uncle Tom lost his longtime love Gina to cervical cancer.

Cancer is a disease that bears the names and faces of our loved ones. It is cruel and unfair and it doesn't care about the lives it leaves behind or the beauty and talent of the people it invades.

For those of you have fought the battle and won, I am running for you. For those who didn't win, I'm going to keep up the fight for you.
