Welcome!

Welcome to my Underwear Affair Personal Page! As you can see, I've joined Alberta Cancer Foundation's Underwear Affair® - a 10K run / 5K walk to uncover cures for cancers below the waist. It's not only fun, but it fights prostate, colon, testicular, and ovarian cancer, among others. I'll be just one of thousands of people gathered on the streets of Edmonton this summer in the biggest Affair this town has ever seen!


What can you do about it? You can donate to me! Don't be shy - it's about giving these devastating cancers some exposure and shedding some light on their cures. So please help me in my effort to raise money for care and research for cancers "down there!"

I have been wanting to run in this that last couple of years but I kept putting it off.  My friend Ken is currently battling cancer and it made me realize that I couldn't wait any longer to join the fight against cancer.  I have lost both my grandfathers, my cousin, uncles, aunts, friend's parents and relatives, and I want to do something to help!  Survival rates and treatments are much better than they were in the past and research will continue to help!!

I know you always get asked for donations but please support me and my team! Anything over $10 gets you a tax receipt which means you're going to get 25-35% back in your tax return next year anyways! (Sorry the financial planner in me came out a bit there!)

I am also looking for a few more team mates to join me! Don't be intimidated, I am a TERRIBLE runner! Operations on both knees and a love of the couch mean I am not in shape but we have time to train!
