Being the captain of this amazing team I feel so honored !! Colon Cancer has invaded our family genetics for 3 generations (that we know of ). Starting with my Grandpa Johnny Brookman at age 56. Then I witnessed my Dad being told he also had colon cancer at age 46. I stood there thinking this cant't be real. He had surgery soon after the news , and hasn't looked back ! Many years later I worried about us three kids being tested. My family was moving to another town and I kept thinking us kids really need to be getting checked. The doctors said you don't have to worry Kristie until you guys are at least 35. My worrying turned into a reality when I would come back home for the weekend and see my brother Brett getting skinnier every time. We thought stress related, maybe or maybe not. He was diagnosed at age 32 with stage 3 cancer. This nearly shattered everyone that loved him . How could it be this far gone?? He endured chemo and radiation. He was mentally and physically knocked down by this and so were we with worry. He had his surgery and treatments and was such a trooper. One year later again not feeling great found out he had a blockage. This again took so much out of him , but having is two precious daughters in his life he fought it out and again carried on as usual. He has always had a great sense of humor and this is one thing I can always count on him for. He is lucky to be here, and we are lucky to have him. Cancer will not win, NOT A CHANCE !

When you have a intuition about something not being right , don't listen to anyone. Do what is necessary to find the right answers ! 

Be thankful each day for your health , and live each day standing up !
