The Show Still Goes On

Thanks For Visiting My Web Page!
This year marks the 6th year of the Underwear Affair in Edmonton. It also marks the 6th year that the Undie Dawgs have been running and walking for a cure. We have raised over $57,000 over the past 5 years to help uncover a cure.
This year I'm dedicating my walk to my Dad. Dad is a prostate cancer survivor. Recently his prostate cancer has metastasized to his bones. While vacationing in Maui, he collapsed having suddenly no feeling in his legs. After 2 weeks of treatment there, he returned home, now a paraplegic in rehab at the Glenrose Hospital, his life forever changed. Dad's courage and optimism in the face of such grim reality is inspirational. This one's for you Dad!
I continue to participate in the Underwear Affair in memory of my beautiful sister, Debbie Jamieson, who we lost unexpectedly to colon cancer in 2006, and in honour of my husband, also a prostate cancer survivor.
I continue to participate to honour a promise I made to my sister to find an event that would help raise money to find a cure for colon cancer. It was the last promise I ever made to her.
I continue to participate for you so that you, your family and your friends do not have to face the devastation the "below the belt" cancers have caused my family.
What can you do? You can donate generously or, better yet, join my team. It all helps to raise money for care and research for cancers "down there!", and it honours my sister's memory.
Thanks to those of you who continue to support my cause. I am humbled by your generosity.
