hi there :)

if you are reading this, you no doubt know that i have joined the alberta cancer foundation's underwear affair. i don't run, but i sure do like to walk, so i'll be participating in the 5km walk to uncover cures for cancers below the waist - prostate, colon, testicular & ovarian cancers, among others.

i've chosen to participate in this event for many reasons, the biggest being the fact that cancer runs through both sides of my family & i feel now that i want to be a part of the cure (... doing that whilst running around in my underpants is really just a bonus ...). on sunday, june 16, myself, my max (that's the puppy) & my heather will be walking with thousands of others, having some fun & (hopefully) being a part of finding a much needed cure! :)

i would love it if you would join me in this! how, you ask? simply by donating to me!!! in return for your donation, the alberta cancer foundation will send you a tax receipt & i will write your name on my underwear affair t-shirt & send you a pic of me in it (how's that for incentive?!?!) if we get enough donations, you will also receive a picture of max sporting a fun fundraising pair of man-panties, also known as "manties" (seriously ... how can you not want to donate?!?)
